NCIA Lobby Days 2019 in DC - May 21-23rd!

It's that time of year again for cannabis business owners and activists from all over the country to converge at our nation's capitol in DC and do the same thing we did in Salem last month - but at our nation's capitol.
Achieving things like banking reform and 280E reform would be total game-changers for the cannabis world.  But we need your help.

We've been working closely with our national counterparts at the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA). Here's what they have to say:

9th Annual Cannabis Industry Lobby Days

"Join 300+ NCIA members at our 9th Annual Cannabis Industry Lobby Days in Washington, D.C. to advocate for our industry and forge a unified front with the industry’s most politically engaged leaders.

During NCIA’s Cannabis Industry Lobby Days, NCIA members from across the country descend on Capitol Hill to tell their stories and advocate for federal reforms needed for our industry to reach its full potential.

Never been a citizen lobbyist before? We make it easy by offering trainings before the event and on-site.

Attending NCIA’s Cannabis Industry Lobby Days is exclusive to NCIA members, join NCIA today to participate in the industry’s most impactful event of the year!

The City of Portland invites application for the 2019 Cannabis Social Equity Grants!

This is a restorative justice and community reinvestment grant opportunity funded by the City of Portland’s 3% local tax on retail cannabis sales.

There is $700k available for Cannabis Social Equity Grants, which can be used for the following purposes according to Ballot Measure 29-180:

Of that $700,000, Prosper Portland will administer $210,000 to provide industry support and technical assistance to minority-owned cannabis businesses.

The Cannabis Program, in the Office of Community & Civic Life, will award the remaining $490,000 in a 8 to 10-month grants to “promote small businesses, especially women-owned and minority-owned businesses” and “provide economic opportunity and education to communities disproportionately impacted by cannabis prohibition.”

The RAD Expo is going to be a great event for cannabis retailers. This event isn't like many of the other trade shows out there that dispensary owners have stoped attending because they cost too much; have a hodgepodge of vendors; allow in the general public; lack focus; and have the same old speakers talk about the same tired subjects.

RAD Expo is different - It is businesses only and 100% focused on the retail side of the industry.

Attendance is FREE for licensed retail stores and dispensaries, as well as qualified applicants in states not yet issuing licenses.  All exhibitors will have products and services aimed at making retailers more profitable. It’s a national show featuring businesses from all over the U.S.

Located at Portland's Oregon Convention Center the conference is squarely in the middle of the biggest legal marijuana market in the world, (60 million consumers in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska).

The RAD Expo will feature retail-specific exhibitors, including: POS sales products, shelving, display cases, accessories, food, drinks, refrigerators, programming consultants, packaging, POP displays, legal, accounting, CBD products, medical products, and just about everything and anything a retail store owner or dispensary will need to set up a store, or would want to sell.

EXHIBITORS - Businesses serving retailers including branding & marketing, POS, inventory management, security, merchandising, tech and software, displays, accounting, lighting, design, food and drink,  and everything in between.

RETAILERS and dispensary owners from around the U.S. can find everything they need to operate in one organized, professional environment.

THE FARMERS MARKET will give licensed cannabis cultivators the opportunity to network with retailers and create lasting business partnerships.
